Service Description

If you feel confident with navigating on paths, and want to take your navigation to the next level, this is for you! We will spend the day in the depths of the Snowdonian mountains, learning and practicing the navigaton skills in a practical and interactive way. Navigation techniques will include reading contours, walking on a bearing, handrailing, ticking off features and catchment features. Although you don't need to know what these are yet! I will also teach you skills such as pacing and timing so you can accurately locate yourself on the map at any given time. All being said, we can chat through your individual needs and gaols before the day and cater it to you. The starting point is only accessible by car, it will be a parking bay on snake pass https://goo.gl/maps/WMq1NLADoRoefHV4A. There is plenty of acommodation nearby in Glossop.
