The Classic Challenge
Join us on an adventure and take on Yorkshire’s 3 highest peaks in under 12 hours. The day will cover 38.5km of outstanding beauty from waterfalls to rocky terrain, and we will ascend a total of 1516m to our peaks.
This is an opportunity for you to join our community of walkers and meet new people!
When George Mallory was asked why he took on Everest, he replied “because it’s there”.

FAQs
-
What if I don’t have all the kit
-
Don’t let that stop you, drop us a line and we can work it out, and we have some things you can borrow
-
-
How fit do I have to be?
-
You need to be on your feet, walking for up to 12 hours with some hills in between. It sounds a lot, but if you are reasonably fit and have been in hills before you should be fine. We’d recommend doing a 20km for practice.
-
-
Who will be there?
-
The short answer is we will find out on the day. However, we generally have a wide range of ages and a mix of genders. We find walking with people is a great way to get to know them, especially when we have walking as a common interest.
